So glad you’re keen to come to Paris in October we’re so looking forward to showing our newest discoveries of Paris textile and artisan delights.
This year’s theme is the Arts and Metiers of Paris.
You will learn an art d’exception at the exclusive Ecole des Arts and Métiers de la Mode in one of the oldest streets in Paris (their iconic façade features in the Devil Wears Prada II): The “Couture Brigade” has designed a special private workshop just for us. We will learn how to create exquisite silk flowers using Haute Couture techniques and tools. Use them to embellish an outfit, display proudly on your coffee table or give your Ascot hat special flair.
We will be welcomed by the owner of the eponymous Henryot & Co. (makers of the iconic embroidered Dior chair) in a five-story atelier in their historic Faubourg St Antoine hotel particular where we will engage with skilled artisans specializing in wood carving, marquetry, gilding and upholstery.
We will also have an exclusive visit and conversation with the owner of a well-known Parisian Costume Atelier, providers to major French theatres and Studios.
And, following the success of last year’s perfume-making afternoon, we are repeating the experience at a new venue: the iconic Musée de Parfum Fragonard where you will learn everything there is to know about perfume-making and create your very own, unique fragrance at their celebrated Atelier.

I have just returned from a textile tour in Marrakesh, and I honestly can’t rate the experience highly enough.
While the sights and fabrics were breath-taking, a personal highlight for me was the friendship and connection with my fellow travellers.

Skilled seamstress
I can thoroughly recommend the Paris Textile Tour with Alice and Jane. We were looked after from start to finish and the exhibitions they took us to were excellent.
It was great to be shown very special sewing related shops and to spend the week with other like-minded people.
Alice and Jane gave us several really interesting workshops.
JULIA C
Creative polymath
I thoroughly enjoyed my week in Paris with Alice and Jane.
I was a little anxious about spending a week away with a group of sewists I hadn’t met before, but I needn’t have worried.
Our common interest gave us so much to talk about and visiting some wonderful exhibitions and shops I wouldn’t have otherwise known existed with a group of like minded people was truly a treat.
Highly recommended.
